SPECIAL MEETING April 2nd, 7pm

The production team for the film “Wurtzle Brothers” will be joining us in person at the Barrow Mansion to hear your concerns and discuss mitigations!

Filming Maps

The film, "Wurtzle Brothers", is about Bob Dylan's life, and Jersey Ave is going to be transformed into 1960s MacDougal street. The production team is very excited to be filming in this neighborhood, and are making themselves available to impacted residents via this phone number: (347) 352-4176 to answer any questions or concerns. They will also be joining us in person at the Barrow mansion to walk us through the filming plan, shown in the maps below, and discuss the potential impacts to residents and their mitigation plans to minimize disruption.

Friends of Liberty State Park Update

Tuesday, April 9th - Terminal Task Force meeting starting at 6pm and with Public Speaking for in-person and virtual attendees starting at 7:30pm.

For Zoom, please register here or use the QR code below. Zoom attendees will also have the opportunity to submit a written comment (DEP will show the link). We urge in-person attendees to also register so you can submit a written comment in case you don't speak.

When you have time, please see the DEP's very informative slides on this webpage which summarizes the 2700 public comments to 9 categories of north side proposals which were in the questionaire after the Oct. Open House. The DEP's summary has helpful bullet points of "Support for" and also the DEP's "notes for careful attention to". Also, some "visions" are shown for the rest of LSP, and north side alternatives are shown in the slides such as the number of north side ballfields for the lawn by the marina.
